The drunk, a Russian, growled and shouted while his fellow passengers restrained him in his seat on the 11-hour British Airways flight from London to Bangkok.
It is believed the rowdy passenger had taken almost a litre of duty-free whiskey, which he stowed beneath his seat, as well as the complimentary in-flight drinks.

As reported by the SUN and Daily Mail, the flight was two hours from its destination when the man became aggressive.
It took eight men and two women to pin him down before the cabin crew managed to restrain him with handcuffs and body straps.
His 47-year-old victim narrated, “’I was standing near his seat waiting for the lavatory when he came behind me and he hit me in the back and started pushing me.
“He was a big lad, very drunk, and very aggressive. It was pretty scary. I got him down into his seat but he was still causing a problem.

“The man was making a lot of noise, shouting and being violent. It happened at around 35,000ft which is pretty terrifying.”
Once the plane landed, armed Thai police boarded it and the Russian was arrested.
A British Airways spokesman said: “Our customers and crew deserve to enjoy their flights without any form of disruption. This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated, and the appropriate action will always be taken.”
