Shelly Lekalakala was chopped to pieces and his body was wrapped in cloth and put in a metal sink before being buried in a shallow grave in the backwoods.
One of his friends revealed to the police how he was tricked into burying Shelly and lead the police to the place where the body was buried. When he learned that he was an accomplice of murder he instantly ran to the police and told them everything.

Forensics exhumate the victim's shallow grave
The dead man’s 37-year-old wife reported him missing on January the 16th and only did police finally find out the fate of Shelly Lekalakala. She reported that he was missing two weeks after he was initially murdered.
A spokesperson for the police stated: “He told police the initial idea was to throw the metal sink inside a river. But they did not go ahead with that plan; the trio attempted to dig a hole instead.”
He added: “The trio didn’t finish digging the hole that night. They came back the next night.”
On that second fateful night did the confessor find out that his hands were bloody from burying a dead man. He was told that if he told anybody he would face the same fate as his friend in the grave.
One of the suspects was arrested and the hunt is on for the other men.
