APGA demands exit of Igbos from the north after youths' quit notice

Arewa quit notice: APGA urges Ndigbo to dump APC

- The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has called on Igbo politicians to dump All Progressive Congress (APC)

- APGA made this call in a Town Hall meeting that took place in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra state

- The party said there is no point for the Ndigbo politicians remaining in the APC since it is controlled by Hausa

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has urged Igbo politicians to dump All Progressives Congress (APC) for APGA, “which symbolises the late Biafra war lord, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.''

We gathered that since Arewa youths have asked Igbo in the north to go to their place of origin.

APGA urged Igbo people to make sure that they denounce the ruling party which they the major stakeholders are Northerners.

It was learnt that this was made known in a Town Hall meeting that took place in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state.

The national coordinator of Stakeholders for Willie Obiano for second term, Chief Ekene Enefe, pointed out that since APGA is known as an Igbo party, the best bet would be for Igbo to rally round the party “as our own”.

Meanwhile, We earlier reported that Ibikunle Amosun, the Ogun state governor and his Borno counterpart, Kashim Shettima, have refuted the tape discussions about Biafran agitation and what Hausa and Yoruba should do to trick the Igbo.

The alleged discussion took place at 20:38 lasted for twenty minutes and thirty-eight seconds. Otunba Dayo Adeneye, the Ogun state commissioner for information and strategy said the conversation never took place and attributed it to the handiwork of mischief makers.
