If Buhari's change fails, there will be revolution in Nigeria - APC senator declares

Nigerians have more faith in Buhari than any other politician - Shehu Sani

-Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) has commended the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for improving Nigeria’s previously bleak outlook

-Sani stated that Nigeriand had more confidence in Buhari than any other politician

-He called on Nigerians to take their future into their own hands and start a revolution if the change agenda of the APC fails

The Senator representing Kaduna Central in the upper legislative chamber, Shehu Sani (APC) has commended the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for lifting Nigeria out of the abyss.

According to Vanguard, Sani made his comments to newsmen in Kaduna on Friday, June 2 on the side lines of the 10th National Conference of School of General Education, Federal College of Education, Zaria.

“Nigerians are suffering, they are in poverty and there is no confidence between the masses and those in position of authority except Buhari”, he said.

“The masses in Nigeria have confidence only in President Buhari but not any other politician.”

Though Sani noted that the APC government was “yet to take us to the promise land’’, it had moved Nigeria away from the deft of hopelessness.

Sani noted the tremendous achievements recorded by the president in the areas of security, corruption and changing the image of Nigeria abroad.

Speaking further, Sani alerted that: “If this change agenda fails, Nigerians have no option than to start a revolution in this country, because they have to take their destiny in their hands.

“If the progressive political class do not perform better from the conservative political class, then the next thing is revolution; that is what is going to happen.”

Meanwhile, on the other hand, NAIJ.com earlier reported that the minority leader in the House of Representatives, Honourable Leo Ogor (PDP) has said the Muhammadu Buhari administration has no clear cut economic policy.

Ogor, who represents Isoko Federal Constituency in Delta state, made the comment on the popular breakfast show, Sunrise Daily on Channels Television on Thursday, June 1.
