Coming after a meeting under the aegis of “Coalition of Northern Groups”, they lamented that the business tycoon has joined other elites in the north to betray them.
According to them, Aliko Dangote has a large chunk of his investment in Southern Nigeria and is the “final destination where every corrupt government official dump their public treasury loot.”

In a statement by the youths yesterday in Abuja, signed by Abdul-Azez Suleiman, they noted that Dangote “can only boast of a very negligible presence by way of investment even in his birthplace, Kano while citing more than 70% in the South.”
Titled “In Response to Aliko Dangote’s Ranting”, the youths added that the “Kaduna Declaration has finally exposed the bankruptcy of many northerners such as Dangote who have turned traitors after riding on the goodwill of the region’s past leaders who sacrificed everything to beaqueth a fair environment to future generations.”
The coalition enjoys the membership of six northern youth groups which are: Arewa Youth Consultative Forum; Arewa Citizens Action for Change; Arewa Youth Development Foundation; Arewa Students Forum; Northern Emancipation Network and Northern Youth Vanguard.
