Tension rises in Zimbabwe as Military is  set to Oust Mugabe

There’s a Military deadlock in Harare, the Zimbabwean capital, as Defence chief, Constantine Chiwenga and Vice President, Emerson Mnangagwa, refuse to vacate office.

According to reports, the US Embassy in Harare is under locks as soldiers are ready to engage in a faceoff with the President after growing tired of his unproductive government.

Retired General, Douglas Nyikaramba is reportedly back at the Zimbabwe National Army to plot a coup to remove President Mugabe, according to sources. The Military and police are also set to go on a showdown with soldiers openly showing their distaste for Mugabe’s governance.

There has been an upgrade in the security alerts from Lebanon, Israel, and the United States with the Swedish embassy temporarily closed. Soldiers who are in leave have received immediate call ups as tensions remain high in the Military.

President Mugabe is viewed by many to have crossed his golden years in governance and must leave office having been there since their independence in 1987.

He has been overseeing Zimbabwe in a period that has rendered them stagnant and far from development as people keep complaining of his excruciating policies, nepotistic decision making and a lack of respect for the citizenry with his regular loose speeches and garbs.
