In a statement issued on Saturday, November 14, in Abuja by Femi Adesina, his special adviser on media and publicity, the president expresses shock over the incident, NAN reports.
Buhari shared sincere condolences to the families, relatives and friends of the unfortunate victims of the callous attacks
The statement read: “On behalf of the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Buhari conveys his heartfelt sympathy to President Francois Hollande and the people of France.”
President Buhari called on all peace-loving nations of the world, to intensify ongoing multilateral cooperation and collaborative actions aimed at tackling the problem of international terrorism.
More than 127 people were killed in several shootings and multiple explosions in at least seven locations in Paris, the French capital. Shooting was heard near the Bataclan arts centre, where an unknown number of terrorists took over 100 people hostage.
