Kano Igbos Distance Selves from Agitation for Biafra

Kano State chapter of the Igbo leaders has distanced itself from the agitation for the actualization of Biafra.

The leader of Igbos in Kano,  Chief Boniface Ibekwe, also urged the federal government to handle the issue of agitation for Biafra with utmost care.

Ibekwe said the issue should be carefully handled because it is a time bomb.

Speaking on Tuesday during the stakeholders’ meeting with the Inspector General of police, Mr Solomon Arase in Kano, he also called for the immediate release of the Director, Radio Biafara, Nnamdi Kalu to ensure peace and unity in the country.
