Chris Rock might have had everyone laughing during his amazing time out at the 2016 Oscars, but he will certainly not be laughing at Rihanna's response to his comment at the award show.
The comedian in a bid to condemn the boycott of the Oscars by black actors based on the all white Oscars nomination list said "Jada boycotting Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited."
That comment was a metaphor aimed at making the boycott appear like an unwitty thing to do bearing in mind the magnificence of the award show which marked its 88th edition this year.
In her response to Rock's funny comment, a source said, “Chris’ joke was epic! She laughed her a** off at it,”
“But not only was it funny, it was also true. She’d never invite Chris into her kitchen like that.”
The source also explained that Rihanna means “no shade” towards Chris by his lack of welcome into her pants.
