Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Brad Pitt of two years citing irreconcilable differences and requesting for restricted visitation.
Brad Pitt expressed his sadness over the divorce via an interview with People Magazine saying, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
Jolie also entreated for privacy revealing to E! News via her manager, Geyer Kosinski, that the family needs it until the issue becomes less virulent.
“Angelina will always do what is in the best interest of taking care of her family. She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time”, Kosinki said.
