Apostle Johnson Suleman has said that Governor Nasir El-Rufai had issued a threat following the killing of Fulani people but there was no repercussion.

The religious cleric who is the founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide spoke on the heels of the attempted arrest by operatives of the Department of State Service in Ado Ekiti where he was eventually taken away by Governor Ayodele Fayose.



Apostle Suleman in a sermon had asked his members to kill any Fulani herdsmen spotted around his church sparking outrage and claim that he was inciting religious violence.

The cleric shared some tweets on Thursday, January 26 with one of them quoting that El-Rufair promised death following killing of Fulanis.

Suleman insisted that he was not inciting any religious violence but advised Christians to defend themselves if they ever come under attack.
