Some police officers have barricaded Dino Melaye's street surrounding his house following his release from detention.
Combat ready policemen have laid siege at Sangha Street, Maitama, Abuja residence of Senator Dino Melaye after he was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on his way to Morocco and released earlier today.
The lawmaker took to his social media handle to reveal this saying: "Over 30 heavily armed fierce looking mobile police men have just stormed My residence in Maitama, Abuja.
All roads leading to House has been condoned off, as heavy mobile police men blocked entry & exit of the road. They currently laid siege on in and around The house."

According to Punch, it was gathered that the security operatives blocked the street with a Toyota Hiace bus with tinted glass and Plate Number RSH 193 TP on one end, and a pickup van at the other end.
They had prevented those in the building from exiting but later allowed family members, friends and guest to enter and exit the premises.
