- She says Jimoh Moshood, the spokesperson of the police, lied in his claim concerning the vehicles
- Toyin also speaks about the falsehood in the indictment of her husband over the Offa robbery
Toyin, the wife of Bukola Saraki, has denied a claim by Jimoh Moshood, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), that some of the vehicles that blocked the home of the Senate president are attached to her.
Moshood had reportedly said some of the vehicles could be there to provide protection for her.

Toyin Saraki, who sent her tweet to Channels TV Sunrise Daily show, said: "I am absolutely flaggerbasted by police Jimoh Moshood on TV attempting to claim that these white vehicles that blockaded the road outside our Abuja residence could possibly be ‘protection provided to the wife of the Senate president’.
“First, I have never received any vehicle from the police. Secondly, I believe these vehicles bear a striking resemblance to cars donated by my dear brother, Aliko Dangote.
“I hope DSP Jimoh Moshood can leave me out of this unseemingly contretemps. Thank you!
“it was bad enough that I was forced to endure a mass invasion of my privacy, with the misidentification of a guest at a private family occasion.

“Falsely, as one of the police Offa bank robbery suspects, the police did nothing to correct this widely circulated falsehood.”
Ujuayalogu'sBlog News earlier reported that the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) warned against any action from Nigeria’s security agencies that could be seen as injurious to the country’s democracy.
It spoke in reaction to the siege on the homes of Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu, the president of the Senate and his deputy, respectively. CAN said the blocking of the homes of the two top legislators was a siege on the country’s democracy.
In a statement signed by the media assistant to the CAN president, Adebayo Oladeji, the association urged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigeria Police Force not to do anything that could threaten Nigeria’s democracy.
