One of such person is the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who sources told DENISAURUS News has abused and mismanaged the duty given him to reform the justice sector, economy and restore the anti-corruption fight.
Professor Osinbajo’s role in reform, primarily is to see him provide advice to President Buhari in the three sections.

Usually this opinion supersedes any advice given by the substantive Minister or Chief Executive Officer of the individual Ministry Department and Agencies, MDAs. But, he has often abused this position.
DENISAURUS News also gathered from reliable sources, how Professor Osinbajo in a blatant abuse of the rule of law introduced the “rule of men.”
Investigation shows that Professor Osinbajo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, has the government running amok, in a way aimed at pleasing his benefactor.
The VP, this paper had reliably gathered caused the closure of a unit at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, which was investigating his benefactor.
The VP’s interference put the chieftain above the law. Staff at the agency say “everyone should be equal in the eyes of the law, but wadding into the matter by the number two man was a clear suspension of the rule of law and the establishment of the rule of men.”
Insiders also revealed how the VP has led President Buhari to breach the constitution on many occasions and has caused irreparable damage to this government.
Whenever these damages are done, the blame is put on the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN.
For instance, the Government’s top lawyer, Mr Malami by law can intervene in cases that represent the public interests.
In the Malabu scandal, the AGF had examined the case and requested that the EFCC must find more evidence before rushing the matter to court.

Unfortunately, the media was deliberately misled to believe that Mr Malami had absolved those involved in the scandal.
The AGF had also advised that until a court of law indicts suspects, names of suspected looters should not be released. However, the VP and the Minister of Information did not listen. Lai Mohammed is now being sued for this!
Professor Osinbajo, a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Lagos State, during the tenure of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is known to have advised the President to keep a “corrupt” officer, Ibrahim Mustafa MAGU at the, EFFC.
The VP’s recommendation was made despite an indicting report written against Mr Magu by the Department of State Service, DSS.
This paper also learnt that Professor Osinbajo recommended the use of two lawyers for the recovery of the $321 million returned Abacha loot from Luxembourg.
Nigeria’s number two man had hoped that Oladipo Okpeseyi, SAN, and Temitope Isaac Adebayo would be a means of keeping tab on the Ministry of Justice, MoJ.
But when this did not work out has planned, he set up a Rule of Law Office, a parallel agency to the MoJ.
Using the Rule of Law Office, the VP who desperately wants to assume the office of the AGF- continues to give conflicting advice to the Government.
Once, Ade Ipaye, Chief of Staff to Professor Osinbajo, through the Rule of Law Office went behind the Government’s top law officer to negotiate with the Swiss Government.
But, he was told they would only work with the statutory department – which is the AGF’s office.
A spokesperson to the Attorney General could not be reached to comment on the issues. The VP’s Office refused to take our calls.
Depite the silence, this paper gathered from reliable sources that the two lawyers who worked with Mr Malami for more than two years on the recovery of the $321 million and other loots, succeeded where other AGF’s had failed. However some online website have created fiction out of the issue.
One of such media outfit, The Cable claims that Mr Malami, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, paid the lawyers to do his own work.
However, this is not true. The two lawyers with Mr Malami, SAN worked on the case for more than two years to complete the task Mohammed Adoke, the previous chief law officer had left unfinished.
Mr Okpeseyi, SAN, and Mr Adebayo who are yet to be paid, successfully negotiated with the Swiss government to release the looted funds back to Nigeria. They therefore have a right to request for their payment.
The AGF as minister does not deal with payment. So trying to link the fees of the lawyers to him shows how desperate people are to nail him.
Besides, the Swiss Government released the money and set some stringent rules with it.

Article 10 of the Memorandum of Understanding that Mr Malami, SAN, signed, states that “should the World Bank determine that any amounts of the Funds were used to finance ineligible expenditures and notify the Government to that effect, the Federal Government of Nigeria shall ensure that such amounts are promptly returned.”
The Swiss government and identified Network on Asset Recovery (NAR) are monitoring the Abacha funds to prevent it from being misspent as previous governments have allegedly done with repatriated funds.
