The Senate President Bukola Saraki has been asked by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC to mention one aspirant that gave him money in order to gain an advantage at the party primaries.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin during the sixth remembrance prayer for his father, Senator Saraki, a former Governor of Kwara State, explained that Comrade Oshiomhole, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress does not have any moral ground to continue to be in politics.
Senator Saraki, who has since joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from the APC said Comrade Oshiomhole should leave politics because he is “somebody who has been told to have been collecting not even naira but dollars from candidates and he is being accused by his party’s aspirants and governors.”

Adams Oshiomhole, who responded to the comment via a statement issued through Simon Egbebulem, his media aide, said if Senator Saraki refused “to mention one name of an aspirant that gave money,” we will “file a legal action against him.”
Comrade Oshiomhole, a former Governor of Edo was recently questioned by the Department of State Security Service, DSS, over the conduct of the primaries held by the APC.
The former Governor of Edo who served as a labour trade union chairman has faced the wrath of members who are dissatisfied with the run of the primaries in the ruling party.
Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari is one of those annoyed with the former General Secretary of the National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria.
Comrade Oshiomhole who was meant to unite the party after John Oyegun’s departure remains at loggerhead with other prominent members of the party such as the Governor of Imo and Ogun.
Aggrieved members have accused Comrade Oshiomhole of receiving funds from from individuals so as to put them at an advantage at the primaries.

Following the allegations made against the APC National Chairman, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission has said it would investigate him, DENISAURUS News can report.
Rasheedat Okoduwa, spokesperson of the ICPC told protesters on Wednesday (November 14) who stormed the commission their petition would be looked into.
Ms Okoduwa said: “First of all, we will verify whether indeed he has a petition and from there, we will look at what they are complaining against.
“Then, the next step is to investigate the petition and see whether there is anything worthy of investigating in the matter.”
