Criminal Actors: How Cairo Ojougboh Allegedly Told Imc Md Pondei To Faint During Senate Hearing

 Pondei faints during grilling

Mixed reactions have been trailing the drama that played out during the senate hearing on the ongoing investigation into the affairs of the Niger Delta Development Commission, as Nigerians who watched the saga have taken to the social media space to criticize the Pondei led Interim Management Committee under the supervision of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Godswill Akpabio, who cunningly refused to sign his oath during his appearance before the investigative panel.

In the clip watched by SecretReporters, it was obvious that a viewer actually predicted the game plan of what was to happen as the embattled MD was told to faint by his colleague Cairo Ojougboh immediately weighty questions on the amount expended by the NDDC was thrown at him during the hearing.

The NDDC Executive Director of Projects Cairo, who is now known as the “kpekpekpekpe” master after his last interview on Channels TV, was alleged to have orchestrated the short drama as he was seated close to Mr Pondei and was visibly seen in the video murmuring to the acting MD who immediately started rolling his eyes.

After dramatically regaining consciousness with the aid of several people present at the hearing who propped him up and attempted to stabilize him, Pondei was whisked away from the hearing as proceeding was temporarily halted.

As a reaction to the incident, an order was subsequently issued by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila that he should no longer appear before the panel.

Arguably new to the game of politics, sources inferred that the Acting NDDC Chairman’s reaction is not far-fetched from the fact that the post is the biggest portfolio he has ever held in his political career, with the grilling the toughest he has ever faced and could not have escaped the furry of the panel if not by the help of Cairo Ojougboh, who has severally been accused executing the monumental looting process in the NDDC as its Director of Projects.

Prof. Kemebradikumo Pondei we learned, left the hospital today and may have no need to further appear before the panel on health grounds.
