Sokoto Man Embark On A One-man Protest Over Increase In Fuel And Electricity Tariff Increase
A man from Sokoto has embarked on One-man protest over the increasing hardship in Nigeria.
In the viral shared by Sahara Reporters, the man when asked why he was protecting today said his protesting the increasing hardship in the country. In his words, he said;
“ I’m protesting because of the price of fuel which has been increased and hike in electricity tariff.
The masses are already in trouble and they are increasing electricity tariffs?”When will Nigeria get better if there is no people to show the government these. We are still in Coronavirus pandemic and the economic impact of it and the government has no consideration towards the suffering of the masses.
This is why I’m out today in my capacity as a youth to sensitize people on the failings of the federal and state government so they can intervene and restore the price of things as they were in the past.”
