Out of 180 countries, Nigeria now ranks 146 in the Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index.
Steve H. Hanke, an American Professor of Applied Economics at the Johns Hopkins University stated that the West African country took the 146th spot, after slipping from the 136th position it was in when President Buhari was first inaugurated.
He Tweeted;
"#Nigeria now ranks 146th out of 180 countries in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index, slipping from 136th place when @MBuhari was first inaugurated. Under Buhari's “watchful eye”, corruption runs rampant".
