Popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid has revealed why he has not brought a star through in the entertainment industry unlike his peers.
Wizkid can be regarded as one of the finest artist of his generation, as he consistently delivered good music to his fans.
Despite his numerous achievements, he has been widely criticized by many for not bringing up a star in the music industry like contemporaries, Olamide and Davido.
Speaking with D Boy Dayo and Mansour on The Beat 103.6 FM London, the singer addressed the criticism.
He admitted the situation and accepted responsibility for it before promising that 2021 is about to be different.
Wizkid Said;
“There’s a reason why I haven’t like truly put a lot of artists through from back home at the same time. First of all, I’m my own boss and I don’t take orders from nobody,” he says. “I’m my own accountant, I’m my own everything. So it’s like I have to make sure we’re bringing out the best of the best talent. We’ve been working on certain things for years and I feel like 2021 is gon’ be amazing.”
