Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has informed Hope Uzodinma that he did not become the Governor of Imo State simply because of his personal attributes.
Hope Uzodinma celebrated his one year anniversary as Governor where he organised a ceremony to commemorate his achievement and time as a governor.
Osinbajo spoke at the event where he made it known that it is by the grace of God that he was elected Governor and not by his own intellect or smartness.
In his words: “Some may say that you are here because you are the smartest, I am sure you know that being the smartest doesn’t mean you will get here,” Time and chance happen to them all. And the Almighty God controls Time and chance.
“So you are here today by the Grace of God. And so, my brother, life is a loan and public office is a loan of an even shorter tenor.” he added.
