Chief Umahi said that the task has become even more imperative in order to end the hunger and poverty inflicted on the poor Nigerians by the APC federal government.
He stated that the former ruling party has put every machinery in motion to take over the country from the APC in line with the desire of the majority of the suffering Nigeria people.

The party chieftain made the statement on Monday at the Government College Afikpo in Afikpo North Local Government Area of the state during a solidarity rally held in support of the governor David Umahi’s reelection by the people of Afikpo North Local Government Area.
He commended the people of Afikpo North for supporting the PDP led administration of governor David Umahi and for adopting him as their sole candidate come 2019.
Umahi noted that their support and endorsement is a demonstration of the good leadership of PDP in the state even as he called on the governor David Umahi to listen to the voice of the people by making himself available for reelection.
He eulogised the Governor for the massive and comprehensive developments going on in all sectors of the state describing it as a pointer to the fact that the administration is indeed anchored on divine mandate.
