The former Chairman, Committee on Appropriation, House of Representatives, Abdulmumini Jibrin has resumed duties after he was recalled from 180 legislative days of suspension.
The lawmaker representing Bebeji/Kiru constituency in Kano state, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has resumed his duties at the National Assembly, Abuja, as he has shared photos showing how he was received by fellow lawmakers at the lower legislative chambers during plenary on Wednesday.

Recall that Jibrin was suspended in 2017 for a period of 180 legislative days for raising an alarm of the alleged padding of the 2016 budget. The lawmaker, who was chairman of the appropriation committee, was also banned from holding any position in the house.
We also reported on Tuesday that the Federal House of Representatives, finally lifted a suspension it placed on the oustspoken following a letter signed by the lawmaker allegedly apologising to the House.
The honourable member who was happy to resume work, took to his Twitter page and wrote: “Today, I resumed representation of my constituency and legislative duties at the House of Reps.
“The experience of the last 2 years has prepared me even better to rededicate my self towards service of our country. I thank you for your support. I remain eternally grateful. A Jibrin,” he tweeted on Wednesday night.
He also posted photos of his resumption and wrote: "My resumption ealier today at the House of Representatives. Thank you all once again for your support and encouragement. God bless."
