Ibrahim disclosed this to DAILY POST in an interview in Bauchi on Thursday.
He said the plot followed the alleged move by the governors to imposed their loyalists instead of proper election ahead of the ward and states congress as well as APC national convention.
” As I am talking to you now, we are aware of the APC governors’ plan to replace only vacant positions in their respective state to prepare them against Buhari during the national convention to hold soon because we have discovered some governors don’t want to conduct state congress election as announced by the APC for fear of losing election,” said Ibrahim

The APC chieftain thundered that if eventually, the governors succeed, the party will collapse, which is aimed at dislodging Buhari from office in 2019.
He cautioned the national headquarters of APC to ensure proper elections are held in all states in line with the party’s constitution to institute justice and fairness.
Ibrahim warned that APC supporters were watching and will not fold their arms while APC governors move to unseat Buhari.
According to Ibrahim, various political groups have been mobilized to stage demonstration to kick against any governor that refused to conduct proper elections in his state.
He maintained that APC was formed out of a genuine desire for justice, therefore, its supporters will not back injustice.
