Ismail Mohammed Tanko, a level 13 detective at the EFCC office in Gombe State, was being blamed by Mr Magu and seen as our informant and whistle blower.
Sources close to the anti-graft boss, have narrated how Mr Magu became highly infuriated over the leakage of all the atrocities being committed by him at the EFCC.
The operative was declared missing by his family early this year. This was reported by this paper exclusively.
According to sources, Mr Mohammed’s disappearance was the handwork of Mr Magu, who orchestrated a plan to frame the Officer at the Presidency, in order to be granted the authority to devour the operative.
Days after this paper published the report on the plans by Mr Magu over Mr Mohammed fondly known as Tupepe, there was a huge fire at the Commission Abuja Zonal Office.

This paper understands that the fire began in the storage room today and was put out by fire fighters led by the Sector Commander, Melone Onyekachi.
DENISAURUS News understands that after the EFCC Headquarters was built, the newsroom of the old office in Abuja was converted as a storage for ICT equipment. It was this room which holds vital information for the commission that went up in flames today. It burnt for hours.

Investigation by DENISAURUS News revealed that the inferno in the Data centre is suspicious.
Source say the Operative whose life was threatened by Mr Magu had promised to provide further exposé on the “corruption and impunity” of anti-graft boss.
But now the information has been destroyed in the suspicious fire which almost “razed down the building.”
