Lidani’s defection was disclosed by the Senate Majority Leader, Ahmed Lawan during plenary on Wednesday.
Lawan congratulated Lidani but did not give reasons the lawmaker defected to the ruling party.
“Let me inform this Senate that very distinguished Senator Joshua Lidani representing Gombe south is defecting from the PDP to the APC. Congratulations,” he said.
This is coming few weeks after Senator representing Rivers West, Osinachukwu Ideozu defected to the APC.
