A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting in Kubwa, Abuja has reaffirmed its earlier order sacking Ifeanyi Ubah as the representative of Anambra South Senatorial District.
The reaffirmation of the sack of the candidate of the Young Peoples Party in the February 23, 2019 election was made by Justice Bello Kawu on Friday.
Ubah had gone before Kawu to seek the setting aside of his earlier order of April 11, 2019.
The judge had on April 11, 2019 sacked Ubah for allegedly submitting a forged National Examination Council certificate to stand for the election.
He then ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Ubah and issue a fresh one Dr. Obinna Uzoh of the Peoples Democratic Party, who came second in the election.
