Hoodlums again attacked the youths protesting an end to police brutality in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Saturday morning.
The hoodlums, who were armed with cutlasses, knives and clubs stormed the Olaiya Junction area of Osogbo where the protesters had gathered chanting EndSARS, No SWAT!
One of the protesters was said to have been injured as a hoodlum inflicted a machete cut injury on his head.
It was gathered that the attack occured at around 9:15am when the youths had gathered and the protest was about to gather momentum.
The hoodlums chased away the protesters and flogged some of them until they fled the scene.
It was gathered that the relentless protesters had gathered at around Technical College area on the Osogbo-Iwo road to continue with their protest.
Some hoodlums had on Thursday attacked protesters at the same area in similar fashion.
The organizers blamed the attack on the state government.
But the state government had since denied the allegation, describing it as unthinkable.
