Rochas Okorocha's aide shot by security personnel
A security operative has reportedly shot Senator Rochas Okoracha's aide.
The incident happened over the weekend during a faceoff between Governor Hope Uzodinma and Rochas Okorocha.
According to Igbere TV, the shot was fired by a security personnel attached to Governor Hope Uzodimma while trying to reclaim a property belonging to Okorocha, now taken over by the State government.
It was gathered that a team of government officials and police, led by the Commissioner for lands, Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu, on Friday, invaded the Royal Spring Palm Hotels and Apartments, allegedly owned by Nneoma Rochas Okorocha, wife of former Governor Rochas Okorocha, and sealed off the property.
Recall also that Governor Hope Uzodinma led administration, last week, recovered the Eastern Palm University from Rochas Okorocha and renamed it.
As former Imo governor Rochas Okorocha is battling incumbent governor Uzodinma over the recovery of the University, Uzodinma sealed off Okorocha's wife's hotel.
While trying to takeover the property, an aide to Rochas was reportedly shot by a security personnel leading to him bleeding profusely during a faceoff between the parties.
There were reports of sporadic shooting during the operation, as seen in videos from the scene.
