Commotion As Truck Crushes Motorcyclist To Death In Ogun

Mr. Adekunle Ajibade, the Sango-Ota Area Commander of TRACE, told newsmen that the accident occurred at about 8.05 a.m on Friday, NAN reports.

NAN reports that the Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has said a motorcyclist died after he was hit by a truck on Idiroko road in Ota area of the state.

Mr. Adekunle Ajibade, the Sango-Ota Area Commander of TRACE, told newsmen that the accident occurred at about 8.05 a.m on Friday, NAN reports.

Ajibade said the remains of the deceased had been handed over to his family members.

He also appealed to motorists to avoid driving against traffic to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.

“We urge truck drivers to maintain an average speed limit to curtail road mishaps.

”We also send our condolences to the family members of the victim and pray to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss,” he said.
